So yesterday on Plurk (where have I heard that before?), a friend of mine Hybie Mynx (shape maker and blogger) mentioned that it was time for a new blogger challenge. She was talking about a Black and White challenge, and I was all for it.
Since she wasn't sure she was going to have time I begged her to let me start it! She very sweetly told me I was welcome to, but I am definitely going to give her at the very least half the credit!
Since I have never started a blogger challenge before, I was eager to jump right in and hope people follow along. I decided to wear a black and white outfit and go to a sim where I new there was not a whole lot of color, mostly because my OCD was in overdrive!
Now I wasn't sure where I was going with this challenge until I was in Photoshop. I finally decided that instead of going completely black and white with my photo, I would leave just a touch of the color. It's very faint and I believe they still can be considered black and white photos.
So your challenge should you choose to accept it is to do a black and white blog post. You can do what I did and leave faint color in it or go with all black and white. You can wear black and white clothes, wear bright colors, or even wear nothing at all (meaning tasteful nudes are acceptable). It's totally up to you.
You can join the Flickr group to add your finished pictures with links to your blogs. You can even message me in world if you want to say hi or just show me your post! Even if you aren't a blogger, and just want to do some black and white pictures that's ok too! I'm really excited to see what you all come up with!
